Boundless Tax wants to be the tax preparation firm of the future. To do that, we needed to come up with a better way to allow our clients to legally sign their returns for eFiling. As part of our new online tax portal, we can now offer the ability to eSign returns to our clients.
Once we complete your returns, you will review them and discuss with your Boundless Tax Professional. After that, you will pay your invoice and be asked if you would like to eSign your returns. We set up all the spots where we need your signature ahead of time (so don’t worry about missing a spot!) and you just click and draw your signature using your computer or mobile device. Our portal even works well with married taxpayers who need both partners’ signatures on their returns.
To offer this awesome eSign service for our clients, we’ve partnered with Taxaroo, a software company that specializes in providing client portals to tax preparation businesses.
No matter what your tax situation looks like, there are very few situations that our tax professionals & IRS-licensed Enrolled Agents at Boundless Tax can’t handle. We help with:
Boundless Tax has a team of Enrolled Agents (EAs) ready to prepare your tax returns and answer all your tax questions. EAs are licensed directly by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to be able to prepare returns and represent taxpayers from all fifty states. We are often referred to as America’s Tax Experts, showcasing our high level of knowledge of tax rules, regulations and laws.
All EAs must pass a comprehensive and exhaustive three-part examination to earn their Enrolled Agent status. This examination takes months, sometimes years, to complete and is a closed-book, proctored exam. Afterward, all EAs must adhere to stringent continuing education (CE) requirements to keep their Enrolled Agent license current.
All Enrolled Agents at Boundless Tax go above and beyond their continuing education requirements, and participate in additional firm-wide educational opportunities throughout the year.
We always tell our own friends and family (even if they use another tax preparer!) to ensure that their tax professional is licensed and current with their educational requirements. There are a number of places online where licensure can be verified, but very few people take the time on their own. The IRS has a comprehensive database of individuals licensed & authorized to prepare tax returns, which you can search through here.
Boundless Tax wants to be the tax preparation firm of the future. While yesterday’s firms would have you meet with them in person (more than once) and call you a bunch of times asking for more information, we thought there has to be a better way.
We’re completely virtual and cloud-based, but we allow each client to make the decision whether they want to embrace this new technology, or to be a bit more old school. We have clients whom we’ve never met in person – they utilize all of our cloud-based, online tools to send us their tax documentation, answer questionnaires, review their returns, sign their returns, and pay their invoices. We also have clients that prefer to sit down with us every year and have a face-to-face conversation, and receive a printed copy of their return. Either way, we’d love to welcome you to the Boundless Tax family.
To encourage online collaboration, we offer a free secure online tax portal to all our clients. We will set you up with a personalized login on day one. Our online tax portal allows you to do the following, all from the comfort of your pajamas:
To offer this awesome online tax portal, we’ve partnered with Taxaroo, a software company that specializes in providing client portals to tax preparation businesses.
Boundless Tax prides ourselves in preparing accurate returns for all our clients, and we have a three-fold review process to ensure that more than one person prepares and reviews your return. We even have two-step review process: our first step is to ensure your return is presented correctly, and the second is to ensure that our professional-grade tax preparation software performed all calculations correctly (believe it or not, we’ve caught our software before).
Even with all these controls, we realize that mistakes will happen. Most preparers say a simple “sorry” and want to charge you all over again to represent you on the notice you’ve received. Boundless Tax is different. We not only offer complimentary audit and tax notice assistance, but we guarantee our work with a $2,500 preparer error guarantee.
This means if the IRS (or a related state or local taxing authority) makes a determination that your return was incorrect, or that Boundless Tax has taken an incorrect position on your return, we will reimburse your interest and penalty charges arising from that issue up to $2,500.
Terms and conditions apply. Ask a Boundless Tax Professional for the full details.
Boundless Tax includes complimentary audit assistance with every return we prepare for every client. Most firms charge an additional cost for this service, and some even bill any audit representation as a whole separate “engagement” – but not here. We feel it’s more important for our clients to feel secure and represented should they receive a dreaded IRS notice.
So, if you ever receive a notice of an impending audit by the IRS or related state or local taxation authorities, just make a call to Boundless Tax. Simple as that.
